The team led by Jin Mingjiang from the Institute of Phase Transformation and Structure at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, has made progress in the field of smart devices using shape memory alloys. Their related achievement, titled "Shape memory alloy-based probe for measuring elastic modulus in biological tissues in the kPa-GPa range," was published in the renowned medical journal *Device*, a subsidiary of *Cell*.
